Collaborating with clients with a design background is pretty common at DesignElement. Together with 310 Architects, DesignElement created an ADA and wayfinding system with specifications that NCSU could maintain internally. I came into this project right before we started a 600+ sign project for NCSU’s new, state of the art architecture & engineering building. Built to tell a story of the very subjects it educates, Fitts-Woolard Hall is home to various materials and treatments…and the vast array of install specifications that comes along with those elements. These photos do not do justice to the scope of such a project, but solo-managing the ADA and wayfinding aspects of this project remains a milestone in my competency as a project manager.
