The Animal Park at the Conservators Center
A non-profit rescue in Burlington, NC the Animal Park is home to large cats, lemurs, and even the popcorn-peeing Binturong. When they came to us with a practically blank slate, our goal was to add museum quality educational graphics and experiences to the rescue. Bold colors, funky shapes, and even a place to “Hi-Five” the sign to see how the animals paw print compares to your hand accomplish these goals. This project paves the way for future (in-progress) interactive signage. Donor signage was kept simple and easy to add on in future orders. Sticking to a budget was vital to this job and much of the design time was donated by myself and another designer. We did not receive any animal snuggles in return. We did not lose any limbs. I’m only partially convinced the two are correlated.
P.S. Check out their Wild Under the Stars events-they are fantastic!
